Florida Green Building Coalition members are passionate about green building, the environment and sustainable design. Through programs and active committees, members are committed to improving Florida’s built environment – inside and out – through certification programs, public advocacy, education, and engagement with decision makers around our state.

FGBC offers two types of membership categories, Full and Limited.

*Green professionals who may not fall under another category; Academics, teachers, and professors, including retirees and full-time students. FGBC Friends believe in the higher standards of resilient and sustainable building principles and wish to support FGBC’s mission.

• Eligibility for Committee Leadership and Board position with voting rights
• Signage/Logos to promote “Florida Green” certified projects
• Use of the “FGBC Member” logo per brand guidelines
• Listing in the FGBC Membership Directory, a popular online searchable database for professional green building services, expertise, and products with a direct link to your website
• Potential to be featured or submit news for a Member Spotlight blog, profile, or newsletter
• Receive regular information blasts of upcoming events and green resources
• Participation in free and discounted industry and membership events
• Networking to add your voice to the state’ green movement and connect with your peers
• Access industry expertise and earn continuing education hours as you expand your knowledge

If a Full membership isn’t possible, we encourage you to participate in FGBC at the Limited Membership Category level as an individual member. This provides state-wide opportunities for active involvement and leadership through learning, networking, and other professional development activities. Members in this category also raise awareness of green building through outreach and advocacy in the community.
