COA’s Transportation department offers a variety of mobility options, including public transportation, paratransit services, private transportation options, and mobility information, resources, and management.

COA also offers resources that assist in planning for driving retirement, travel training, and driver safety courses.

Sunshine Bus

The Sunshine Bus is St. Johns County’s public transportation service, operated in partnership with the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners.

Paratransit

COA offers Paratransit transportation services for residents who are transportation disadvantaged and/or are over 60 years of age.

Coastal Transportation

Coastal Transportation offers private bus and shuttle services for small groups, clubs, and individuals. Travel in comfort and safety to any destination in Florida while supporting COA’s work.

St-Augustine

JTA Provides St. Johns Express Select Route from St. Augustine to Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Transit Authority has established the St. Johns Express Select bus route to provide a convenient connection between St. Johns County and Downtown Jacksonville. The route begins at the St. Johns County Government Center, 4010 Lewis Speedway, and makes a stop at the Pavilion at Durbin Park before arriving in Downtown Jacksonville.

Service is offered from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and is not available on weekends or holidays.

One-way passes are available for $3, one-day passes for $5, and 31-day passes for $90.
