FAQ

Do you allow Pets?

We do allow pets in RV sites as well as two of our cottages, the One Bedroom w/ Loft #25, and Deluxe Poolside #24. There is an additional fee for pets in our cottages, $10 per night, per pet. We ask that pets are kept on a leash when outside and picked up after. We also ask that you do not walk pets through occupied campsites. Please read our Cottage Pet Policies here.

Do you have a boat ramp?

Although we do not have a boat ramp on our property, the town of Welaka's boat ramp is located 2/10 mile north of our driveway off Front Street.

What time is check in/check out?

Check in time for our cottages is 3 pm and checkout time for our cottages is 11 am. We can often have the cottages ready earlier but cannot guarantee it. With our RV sites, we have a little more flexibility as far as arrival and departure time. Please check with the office if you would like to arrive early or check out late

Why are your rates only based on two people?

Our rates are based on the size and location of the cottages. Oftentimes, even in our largest cottages, we only have two guests. If we were to price the larger cottages based on the maximum number they can sleep we would penalize those guests. The more guests in a cottage, typically the more laundry and utilities are used.

Where is the closest grocery store?

The closest full service grocery store is Winn Dixie, located on the north side of Crescent City, approximately 12 miles from us. There is also a Sav-A-Lot in Crescent City. In Palatka, there is a Super Walmart, Publix, and Winn Dixie as well as several mom and pop markets. If you are traveling through Palataka on your way here, one of these would be your best bet as Crescent City is in the oposite direction

Are there restaurants nearby?

Although every cottage has a full kitchen and gas grill, while you are here you are on vacation! Our dockside bar is open seasonally on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We have a full bar and light snacks on Friday and Saturday nights. On Sundays, our dock party is is full swing and the grill is open! Delicious specialty burgers, chicken sandwiches, brats and the like, as well as our newest addition, ahi tuna are some of our offerings! There are few restaurants in town, Shrimp-R-Us, Shells Seafood and Barbecue, and Blessings of Welaka.
