Let’s All Get Cooking!
Our Chef and staff work directly with Intellectually and Developmentally Disabled Individuals (I/DD) of all abilities, teaching useful Cooking Skills and knowledge, promoting Healthy and Creative Food choices while encouraging good hygiene and safety in the kitchen classroom.
It is our goal to ensure every Individual is a hands on participant in meal planning and preparation. We are focused on healthy diet choices and the understanding of special diet needs. Exploring the history of foods and their origins, recipe reading and menu planning are all part of our classes. We harvest many items from Our fruit-full Ability Garden that has accessibility to all Individuals.
